MISSIONARIES

Home), VADODARA was established in the year 1978 by their
mother institution
THE MISSIONARIES OF CHARITY, CALCUTTA.
The
Home has
Orphanage for abandoned
children.
Children home for
giving temporary shelter to children whose parents
are very poor and homeless.
Home for mentally
and physically challenged persons.
Home for the dying
destitute, who are lying at places like Railway
stations, foot path and civil hospital grounds.
The
home has separate buildings and wards for children,
men and women. The inmates are given regular
medical treatment, clothes and wholesome food.
The sisters of Missionaries of Charity and staff
members treats the inmates with lots of care,
love and affection.
The
corporate and individuals who have seen the
home's excellent service to mankind donate
either in cash or kind by way of constructing
wards and rooms, providing free medicines,
clothes and food.
Most of the expenses of the home is provided
by their mother institution Missionaries Of
Charity, Calcutta.
The
cleanliness and upkeepment of the entire campus
of the home and rooms and dormitories speaks
a volume of the level of commitment and care
of the Missionaries of Charity.
The most remarkable fact is that sisters of
Missionaries of Charity, Vadodara are silent
workers. Nothing is read or heard about their
excellent work in news papers, magazines,
media or television.
